Charles Williams

As a therapist, I’m skilled in helping you identify strengths and resources to utilize in discovering reachable solutions specific to what you are experiencing. We will accomplish your goals together through a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapies. Together we will identify various contributors to your symptoms and utilize that insight to transition you into your desired goals and new life norms.

Along with having a passion for helping people, my experience covers adjustment, Depression, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Marriage, Family, Abuse, Behavioral Issues, Child, Adolescent, and Individual therapy. I specialize in crises therapy; Healing after Divorce, and other trauma. Other influences to my approach come from pastoral counseling, which allows me to integrate belief systems and concepts as needed to develop a more innovative approach.

My own life experience enhances my therapeutic approach from the death of a daughter to the loss of a parent. I’ve suffered the hardship of losing a career to the rediscovery of another one; I am no stranger to life issues.

Additional experiences that have influenced my approach draws upon sixteen years of pastoral counseling experience. My knowledge as a Pastor has allowed me to develop the ability to intertwine various faith approaches into developing more innovative interventions. I specialize in marriages in crises, the family relationship in crises, Anxiety and individual therapy.

Learning Experience

I’ve learned the highest level of success happens when the therapist can connect with the client. When the client feel supported and able to speak freely without judgment the greater his or her possibility to achieve their intended outcome. When individuals are encouraged, they experience more success developing the skills to overcome obstacles presented in their life.
