More About me
I am native Arizonian who moved to Washington for graduate school. I have held several roles in coaching, teaching, and mentoring. My desire to work in the mental health profession as an art therapist was to provide additional support beyond traditional talk therapy. Art therapy is less about the final product and more about the process. I believe art therapy can provide a meditative space for individuals to begin to repair their minds and bodies. You do not have to be ‘good’ at art to do art therapy! There is a range of what art therapy can look like, and I will meet you where you are most comfortable. My approach as a therapist is collaborative and goal-oriented. I strive to create a trauma-informed space where individuals feel comfortable advocating for themselves.
I have a passion for working with kids and individuals who have experienced trauma. I look forward to beginning a healing journey creatively.
