More About me
I am originally from France and have lived in the US for 20 years, including 15 years in the Bay Area and the past 5 years in the Seattle area. My first career was in management consulting and the high-tech industry. Personal life experiences, including single parenting two teens who faced trauma, taught me invaluable lessons in practical psychology. These experiences ultimately inspired me to seek greater meaning in my life and dedicate myself to helping others navigate their challenges with more ease. In my free time, I enjoy my family and friends, reading, running, hiking, backpacking, travelling, and my three dogs.
I am deeply passionate about working with kids, teens, and parents, supporting them through mood disorders, behavioral challenges, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, grief, and relationship or family conflicts.
I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental, authentic, and empathetic space that respects my clients’ identities and their intersections. I believe that while we are shaped by our environments and families, we also hold responsibility for our actions and decisions. As such, my approach is systemic, focusing on the network of relationships and structures in which my clients exist. I strive to foster empowerment and agency, helping individuals, with increased support and awareness, take gradual steps to liberate themselves from what holds them back and causes pain.
My foundation is person-centered, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and CBT-focused (emphasizing awareness and control over thoughts and their resulting behaviors). Depending on the challenges, I also incorporate approaches like internal family system (IFS), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, exposure therapy, psychoeducation, mindfulness, or assigning homework.
I look forward to co-creating realistic goals and fostering a journey of healing and empowerment, helping individuals and families achieve meaningful and tangible progress.
