More About me

Erin O’Loughlin (she / her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University (2024) and a Master’s in Special Education (with an emphasis in Early Childhood) from the University of Washington (2019). Erin is also certified as a K-3 teacher, with endorsements in special education and early childhood education. Erin has experience as an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Case Manager, and loves to work with families to ensure that they feel empowered throughout the IEP process. She has supported children and families at Kent Youth and Family Services, MultiCare Children’s Therapy Unit, Tacoma Public Schools, and Clover Park Public Schools.

Erin began working with couples at the Couple and Family Therapy Center at Pacific Lutheran University. She works to build and deepen connection, celebrate moments of joy, and navigate difficult interactions between partners. Whether working with individuals, couples, or family systems, she uses Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to build and strengthen our most important relationships.

When away from the office, Erin loves the theatrical arts, literature, and spending time in nature. She believes in the power of human connection, whether it is on the stage, on the page, or in the therapy room.
