More About me

I’m excited to work with and be a support to you in this time of your life. I believe you have the inherent internal capability for growth and healing. What we will work on together is reconnecting with the present moment experience that is guiding you on your path. I am a client-centered counselor and practice Gestalt and Mindfulness-Based therapies. To me being client-centered means collaboratively utilizing both of our strengths and intuition to coordinate the care that suits your unique needs. I’m best suited to clients managing depression, anxiety, or exploring their personal growth potential. I have a BA from The Evergreen State College and am currently pursuing an M.A. from Naropa University.

Some personal experiences that have influenced me are: I’m a native Washingtonian but have lived outside the country for several years; I have a deep and loving connection with the natural world; I have grieved the loss of family and friends; I have been in therapy and explored the complex dynamics of my own life and childhood. I look forward to utilizing the skills and experience I have gained to be who you need.
