More About Me
I’ve been living in Seattle since 2014, but before then I lived in Arizona. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and I specialized in opera for a long time.
Before I started my current Master’s program, I was an Esthetician and Sugarist. Sugaring is basically like waxing, so you can imagine what that job was like. After sugaring for four years, I realized that my connections with regular clients was what brought me joy, so I decided to
become a therapist so I could focus on connecting with people. I have experience and enjoy working with monogamous and polyamorous relationships, sex, kink, and BDSM. I am sex-positive and enjoy working with couples and individuals on sexuality-related topics. I have experience with ADHD, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, complex trauma, and more.
My approach is collaborative, integrative, and intuitive. I believe that genuine authentic connection is important for therapy to be effective. I am a generally no BS type of person and that comes through in my work, but I meet my clients where they are in the moment. I use different techniques based on my clients; therapy is not a one-size-fits-all situation. I always consider the intersectional experience of my clients and use a systemic lens. I use various techniques from Collaborative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Attachment Theory, to name a few.
