About Alex
I originally graduated from the University of Washington with my Bachelor’s in Psychology. From there, I pursued a career in mental health working at a Behavioral Health Unit for a number of years. I decided to pursue a Master of Social Work because I not only believe in mental health as something we individually deal with, but collectively as a community and society at large.
My primary experience has been with anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, as well as personal growth and narrative. I believe in therapists helping people connect with and understand themselves better, but also meeting them where they’re at. Since I also bring a social work perspective to the room, it is helpful in a number of ways. I really like to lean on existential psychology and help create a meaningful narrative for clients.
Bonus: I love photography and travel!
