About Olya
Olya is a therapist at Life Transitions in Tacoma and an LMFTA with an MA in Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University. With years of experience in intensive recovery settings, she specializes in helping individuals and families move through attachment trauma and complex relationship dynamics.
Olya uses a systemic, IFS-informed approach to help clients “unblend” their defensive or anxious parts from their true selves. Her work is a balance of deep narrative exploration and practical regulation, incorporating DBT, CBT, and ACT skills to provide immediate grounding.
As a parent of two and an immigrant from Ukraine, Olya understands the messy beauty of cultural transitions and family life. She provides a therapeutic space defined by unconditional positive regard, clinical challenge, and a touch of humor, helping her clients untangle their pasts to rewrite their futures.
